Herbie HANCOCK under fusion

If i should only a fistful of artists that had influenced me a lot on my "black side" i would keep PRINCE, Fela KUTI, and Herbie HANCOCK. Innovation, activism, research, rule breakers, it
can be enough reasons for me to feel these artists the way i do.
My favourite period in Herbie's career is running from "Headhunters" to "Rockit", this complete
decade that see him moving from jazz to fusion electronic sounds in funk.

Detroit legend Kenny LARKIN

Remember those years while producers where doing electronic music with real machines, not only computers. Wasn't the same. Kenny LARKIN was one of the living legends at this moment. He was on PLUS 8 in the early years with the massive compilation "From our minds to yours vol.1" . This "Manik man" is still one of my favourite ones, a good reason to share it down here.
